I didn’t post last month because I was so busy with new projects and decided to announce everything together this month! My biggest piece of news is that I’ve signed a two book contract to write ‘Cosmo Red Hot Reads from Harlequin’, a new series launching later this year. These are novellas (perfect for reading on mobile devices as well as all the usual methods!) and the series launches in August with a book by Sylvia Day. Mine will be out a few months later - and as soon as I have details I’ll post them here. I can tell you my story is already written and features a fun, independent heroine who finds herself in a very embarrassing position with a super sexy alpha male! It’s hot and humorous and I’m really hoping it will make readers smile. I’ll still be writing my full length books for Harlequin, and on that note I’m excited that the first in my O’Neil brother series, Sleighbells in the Snow, is already available for pre-order. You can see details at the top of this page. In other news, A Night of No Return has been shortlisted for a RITA Award! This is the third successive year I’ve been nominated and I feel very lucky, particularly as I won the award last year with Doukakis’s Apprentice. The winner will be announced at RWA in Atlanta in July. I’ll be there signing, so if you’re going come and chat! I also found out last month that The Forbidden Ferrara won a RT Reviewers’ Choice Award. I’ve been nominated six times but never won so I’m thrilled. My latest Harlequin Presents, An Invitation to Sin, is out later this month in paperback and will be out June 1st as an ebook. RT Book Reviews gave this book 4.5 stars and it’s a ‘Top Pick’ for June.
